Terms
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms cover using Ambiant: the app, the website and the Studio. Ambiant is in early testing (alpha), so things will change, break and improve. By using it you agree to the following.
The stories
- Stories on Ambiant are fiction. Characters are played by AI and can make mistakes or say unexpected things. Nothing a character says is advice, and nothing in a story is real life.
- Stories reach out in real time: texts, calls and notifications. You control this with play hours, quiet hours and notification settings, and you can pause or leave a story any time.
- Real-world missions are always optional and always have another way through. Don’t do anything unsafe for a story.
Your conduct
Don’t use Ambiant to harass anyone, to try to get characters to produce harmful content, to break or overload the service, or to access accounts or data that aren’t yours. We may limit or close accounts that do.
Creators (the Studio)
- You keep the rights to the stories you write. You give us permission to host, run and show them on Ambiant so players can play them.
- Only publish what you have the right to use, and follow our content and safety rules. Stories go through review before they reach players.
- AI-generated material (text, voices, images) is a starting point; you’re responsible for what you publish.
Alpha access
Alpha access is personal and by invitation. Please don’t share your invite. Features, limits (like Burner Minutes and daily usage caps) and availability can change during the alpha.
No warranty
Ambiant is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.
Changes and contact
We’ll update these terms as Ambiant grows and note the date above. Questions: hello@ambiant.io.
